Jeremy began racing in Track and Cross Country in High School. During Jeremy’s junior year in High School, his track coach convinced him to race in a triathlon. Without any swim coaching (or practice), Jeremy raced in a .5 mile swim, 10 mile bike and 5k run- that is when his love for Tri’s began.
Jeremy went on to race for Florida State University’s Triathlon Club team and raced at the Collegiate Nationals. While at FSU, Jeremy was blessed to train with some wonderfully talented and knowledgeable triathletes. It was during this time that Jeremy’s goals began to switch from competing in Tri’s for fun, to competing to win his age group and eventually, win overall titles.
In August of 2012, Jeremy became a member of Team Celsius. Celsius was a product that Jeremy used before training sessions and prior to all of his races. Celsius, Inc. is proud to have Jeremy as representative of our brand. The future looks bright for Jeremy and we wish him luck as he prepares to compete with the best in the world!
“Last week I cut 25 minutes off of my best Ironman 70.3 time. There was one qualifying spot for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships for my age group and I got it! It was one of my bucket list things to do and I was so thrilled to be able to qualify and sign up for it. I had two Raspberry-Acai-green tea cans before the race and I felt great on the bike for the first 40 miles! I tell almost everyone I talk to about racing how great Celsius is! I have "converted" many people to drinking Celsius and they have had their fastest times ever! Thanks again for all of the support. I can't wait to represent Celsius in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships!” Jeremy R.
