Our History

2005 – CELSIUS launched after the completion of its first clinical study, the Metabolic Response Clinical Study. This breakthrough study showed CELSIUS burned calories and raised metabolism over a 3 hour period. After endless taste testing, because we knew the importance of great taste, CELSIUS was then introduced in a tall, sleek glass bottle in June 2005 as the Earth’s First Calorie Burning functional drink with the flavors Cola, Lemon-Lime and Ginger Ale.

2007 – CELSIUS launched in the 12 oz. sleek can and the popular flavors Sparkling Orange and Sparkling Wild Berry were added to the line-up. Soon after, the refreshing Green Tea flavors, Raspberry Acai, Peach Mango and the convenient On-the-Go stick packets, hit the market.

CELSIUS quickly gained widespread market acceptance and over the years has been enjoyed by many celebrities, such as Mario Lopez, Tony Little, Katie Holmes and Sofia Vergara to name a few. Since it’s debut, CELSIUS has been showcased on hit TV shows, such as: Food Network Unwrapped, The NBC Today Show, The Doctors, MSNBC, Extra! and featured in every major US market on news broadcasts on NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox and Telemundo.
