FAQ

What type of exercise program was used to get these results?

The moderate exercise program was simple, specifically designed for previously sedentary and overweight, but otherwise healthy adults. In fact, it is the protocol recommended by the American College of Sports Medicine for such a population, and includes just one set of 8-12 repetitions for each major muscle group, performed two times per week, and low-to-moderate intensity aerobic exercise 3 days per week. Each workout – whether weight training or cardio – lasted about 20-35 minutes. Remember, the exercise regimen was intended to ease previously sedentary people into an exercise program that was sustainable, yet effective, and not so intense that they would not be able to stick with it.
